While Ethereum and the rest of the crew are still crawling around the bottom price-wise, something positive is quietly but steadily starting to emerge:
- As for Ethereum: alongside past records, new ones are appearing. In June 2025 alone, 3.87 million new Ethereum addresses were created — very close to all-time highs. And as we all know, ETH is the engine of altcoins.
- Altcoin inflows to exchanges have dropped significantly: with a yearly average of $2.5B per month, it’s now just $1.6B. That means people are holding and not rushing to sell.
- Everyone thinks Bitcoin dominance is holding alts back, but for some reason no one remembers that previous altseasons always started after a long period of a strong and expensive Bitcoin. Pretty much like now.
- Overall, there’s noticeable activity around updates — both from market veterans (Ethereum, TON, Chainlink) and from newcomers popping up everywhere. And not just memes, but serious and useful developments.
- As for memes: they’re clearly fading into the background. The trend is ending, and liquidity is freeing up for something more serious.
